Carlisle Harris received his art training at Howard University, Washington, DC and was the Vice-Principal of John S. Donaldson Technical Institute in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He was the President of the Trinidad Art Society for many years.>>

Carlisle Harris was presented with the National Awrd, The Public Service Medal of Merit Gold by the President of Trinidad and Tobago at he The President's House on the 7th of March 2022. This award was for the year 2020.
